Who knew that beneath it all, the movie is really a heartwarming, life-affirming romantic comedy? Boy meets girl, boy loves girl, girl loves him back, girl meets someone else, throw in a case of "mistaken" identity, misunderstanding cleared up, boy reunities with girl, happy ever after... well sorta.
David Fincher would have a fit, especially if Nora Ephron beats him to making Fight Club II: Marla's Story... :)
