Affirmation

Got this off a former student's blog and found it an intriguing idea. Play along won't you?...
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and one (or both) of us. It can be anything you want, either good or bad.

We promise not to burn your house down, either way... When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Hope I'm doing this right: One time, at band camp, .... jk. I remember Jude and I bonding through our mutual struggles through 540. And, I remember the first time I met Serene. I was like, "Jude's married?! (His wife's so cute!)" And the first time I talked to her on the phone, she sounded really sweet and nice. And she really was. Yay!

I remember Serene's cooking and how awesome it is. And Jude's cooking is pretty good too. :)

I have always been surprised by how you both have such active social lives and seem to know all of the gossip, while still keeping up with your schoolwork. None of us know how you do it all, while staying sane!

first memory... well, that must be Serene nicking a spliff off me, covertly smoking it in the school field, coming into economics lecture high as a kite and mooning the entire class from the third row...

I first met Jude at orientation. He was the only lively and interesting one at my table, telling everyone that he prepared for coming to michigan by watching two movies: "8 Mile" and "Bowling for Columbine".

I remember meeting with serene and jude at...sweetwaters? I think that was my first serene sighting. I told her about the problems of collecting obsolete computers. If I've got the details wrong serene, set me straight.
